2008/5	29/4/2008	Climbing up the wall at Saul	If you are climbing up the wall at another mention of the Saul Canal Festival, you could be doing just that this July.
2008/4	4/4/2008	Unique visitors to Saul Festival	If you’ve enjoyed Saul Canal and Folk on the Water festival before, you will have seen dozens of narrowboats, from traditional ones to more modern styles. But you won’t have seen anything like the Phyllis May before, this year’s unique visitor.
2008/3	25/3/2008	Trailable boats welcome	For the very first time, Saul Canal Festival in July this year will be able to welcome trailable boats, by a special arrangement with the new Saul Marina, on the Gloucester-Sharpness Canal.
2008/2	10/3/2008	TV celebrity to open the festival	BBC2’s Coast celebrity and maritime archaeologist, Dr Mark Horton, will be doing the honours and opening the Saul Canal Festival on July 5th.
2008/1	17/1/2008	This year’s Saul Canal Festival gathers pace.	Work on organising this year’s Saul Canal Festival and Folk on the Water Weekend is gathering pace, following the “wash-out floods” of 2007. Already most of the bands from last year, especially top-of-the-bill Oysterband, have agreed to be there.
2007/12	13/11/2007	Big-hearted gestures	Further big-hearted gestures from sponsors, traders and ticket-holders have reduced the loss of cancelling the flooded-out Saul Canal Festival & Folk on the Water weekend last July.
