Show of Hands
Sabrina Theatre

The National Waterways Museum's 90 tonne historic Severn Barge Sabrina No.5 will again be a unique venue for the Festival. The 27 metre long Severn Barge built in 1944 in Bristol and restored 20 years ago at Saul Junction by Phil Trotter of R.W. Davis, ship and boat builders, provides a distinctive performance area with seating for 80 to 90 people. Sabrina will be moored astern of the Willow Trust boats in the pool. Access will be from the main Lockside Trading area. This atmospheric venue will provide a stage for music, comedy and theatrical performances.

The other venue afloat is the promenade deck of the Festival Riverboat Hotel.
The Oliver Cromwell.

Music Pavilion & Entertainment Areas Comfort & Safety Policy

Due to Fire Regulations, Insurance provisos, Health & Safety requirements & Licensing conditions we have drawn up the following Music Pavilion Comfort & Safety Policy.

The Policy relates to:
  • Seating
  • Dogs
  • Alcohol

Seating
Portable seats must not be taken into the Music Pavilion
(Wheelchairs are permitted)
The Music Pavilion will be set out with theatre style seating for the daytime sessions. For the evening sessions this seating will be rearranged and fixed around the walls of the pavilion.
There are people with special needs so, in the spirit of providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment for everyone, there will be a number of clearly labelled fixed seats for their use during daytime and evening sessions.

Dogs are not permitted in the Music Pavilion
This again is a health and safety ruling but naturally, guide and support dogs are permitted.
Dogs on leads are welcomed elsewhere throughout the Festival site.
Drinking bowls & 'poop scoop' facilities are provided accordingly.

Alcohol purchased off-site site cannot be brought onto the Festival site.
The festival is licensed for the sale of alcohol and, not surprisingly, we reckon we have that covered by The Drum & Monkey Ale House.
Please do not be surprised if you are asked to leave your off-site alcohol purchases outside the Festival site.

The Music Pavilion & Entertainment Areas Comfort & Safety Policy is designed to ensure that as
many people as possible can enjoy a safe & comfortable weekend of fun and good music
Please help the stewards to help you
